One of the secrets of Newman’s success is its Workshops, which can make things often from a drawing, or description, with rough measurements; for example, the leaded lantern shown above was made from scratch. Its skills include, but are not confined to, welding, brazing, soldering, metal working, skilled carpentry, and glass cutting, but most importantly problem-solving.

All electric lighting leaving our building has been P.A.T. tested.

Many of our electric lights can be made to function with a battery and an LED bulb. Most of our oil Lamps can be converted to electric or battery. Some of our lighting can be converted to Gas if your project is in the 19th century; most of our flambeau style wrought iron fittings can be fitted with propane gas to create a flame.
